I love that Pat was always, ALWAYS, one of the first to congratulate everyone. First out of the dugout, first to pat (pun) someone on the back, first to defend his team. He makes sportsmanship an art. I love you, Pat the Bat. I always will.

The last three days of every school year in high school were basically a wash. Everyone cleaning out their lockers, getting final grades from teachers, and most importantly, signing yearbooks.
